Mauricio Quizhpi
Chef Mauricio’s journey began at just 16 years old, right here on the Shore, where his passion for cooking quickly turned into a lifelong love for hospitality. An Eastern Shore local through and through, he grew up playing soccer and building strong roots in the community. Over the years, Mauricio has poured his heart into perfecting his craft, finding joy not only in the kitchen but especially in catering weddings and special events, where he gets to be part of life’s most meaningful moments.
When he’s not cooking, Mauricio is a dedicated family man, spending time with his three kids and making memories traveling together, especially their trips to Florida. In July 2025, Mauricio and his family achieved a dream years in the making, taking over their own restaurant in the heart of the Eastern Shore. For him, it’s more than just a restaurant, it’s a place to share his passion, his story, and his love for the community that raised him.

The Quizhpi's
Fernando and Angelica bring a lifetime of passion and tradition to the kitchen. Originally from Ecuador, they owned a hometown bakery where their love for hospitality first began, serving their community through food made with care. That passion has stayed with them throughout the years, as they have continued working in the industry, finding joy in creating dishes that bring people together and make others happy.
At the heart of everything they do is family. When they’re not in the kitchen, their grandchildren are their world, and it’s that same warmth, love, and sense of home that they bring into every meal they help create.
